Garden room steel frames and ground screws from one Norfolk team
A garden room going up on a light-gauge galvanised steel frame: accurate, stable, and fabricated here in our Rackheath workshop.
Why a steel frame?
A galvanised steel frame gives a garden room a stable structure. Because we fabricate it in our own workshop, the parts arrive on site cut and made accurately, ready to go together. Galvanising protects the steel, which matters for any building that sits out in the garden all year round. This frame used light-gauge sections, much lighter than the heavy beams we fit in house extensions, but made with the same care in the same workshop.
Base and frame from one team
We can also install ground screws or screwpiles as part of the same job, so the base and the frame both come from one team. That means one point of contact and no gaps between trades. The people who make the frame know exactly what the foundations need to carry. Ground screws are a no-dig foundation, quick to fit and with no concrete mess, which makes them a popular choice for garden rooms, studios, log cabins and home offices.
Built to the right standard
Where it applies, we carry out structural work under BS EN 1090. We're UKCA accredited to BS EN 1090 EXC2, and our in-house Responsible Welding Coordinator oversees quality. That's the same standard we apply to steel beams for house extensions and frames for commercial buildings.
