Mobile and On-Site Welding in Norwich and Nearby

Some jobs can't come to the workshop. A broken gate, a cracked bracket on a trailer, damaged steelwork on site or a machine that's stuck in a field: our mobile welding service brings the repair to you. Based in Rackheath, we've been welding and fabricating for 20 years and cover Norwich and the surrounding area, within 15 miles of Rackheath.

What we can weld on site

Our mobile welding work covers a wide range of repairs and small fabrication jobs, including:

  • Gates, railings, fences and security grilles
  • Trailers, tow bars, brackets and frames
  • Structural and secondary steelwork on building sites
  • Agricultural machinery, implements and livestock equipment
  • Heavy plant, buckets and attachments
  • Industrial equipment, racking and stillages

If you're not sure whether a repair can be done on site, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll give you an honest answer.

Farm and plant repairs without the downtime

When a machine breaks down mid-season, moving it to a workshop costs time you don't have. We can often carry out agricultural and heavy plant welding repairs in the yard or on site, helping you get back to work sooner. For larger repairs or parts that need proper fabrication, we can take them back to our Rackheath workshop.

For homeowners and the trade

We work for homeowners, farmers, builders, contractors and businesses. A homeowner might need a sagging gate fixed or a railing reattached; a contractor might need steel modified on site when something doesn't quite fit. Either way, we'll turn up, do a tidy job and keep you informed.

How it works

  1. Get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or email, ideally with a photo and your location.
  2. We'll talk it through and let you know whether it's an on-site job or better done in the workshop.
  3. We book in a visit at a time that suits, bring the right kit and get the repair done.

We cover jobs within 15 miles of Rackheath. Visits are booked in advance, as we don't offer same-day or emergency call-outs. Call-outs have a minimum charge of £250 plus VAT.

Safe working on your site

Welding produces heat, sparks and fumes, so we'll check the work area before we start and ask you to clear anything flammable nearby. On construction sites, we'll follow your site rules and induction. We can supply RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) and our accreditations for site work.
