Welding in Wroxham and Hoveton

Local welders near Wroxham

Wroxham is our nearest Broads village. It's about 4 miles north-east of the workshop in Rackheath, straight up the A1151, so we're often in Wroxham and Hoveton.

Being on the Broads, much of the work here is to do with water. We fabricate and repair boat trailers, mooring posts and rings, ramps, and steel frames for staithes and jetties. In stainless steel, we make handrails, brackets and fittings that cope better with damp and river air. Boatyards and marinas also bring us brackets, cradles and frames, and we can laser cut parts in-house.

Homes and holiday lets around Wroxham and Hoveton use us for gates, railings, balcony rails and external steps. Shops and businesses ask for signage brackets, security grilles and bin stores.

Our mobile welding service means a trailer or frame can be repaired where it sits, whether that's on a yard, a drive or a mooring. Visits are booked ahead. We don't offer emergency or same-day call-outs, but if something urgent comes up, ring and we'll see if we can fit you in. We've been welding for 20 years, so you'll get practical advice on what's worth repairing.

River work often has to fit around the season, so we can plan trailer and mooring jobs for the quieter winter months, before the hire boats go back out in spring. If you look after a marina or a run of moorings, tell us early and we'll book the work in good time, so everything is ready for the season starting.
