Cringleford is south-west of Norwich, around 9 miles from our Rackheath workshop via the Broadland Northway and A47. It's comfortably within our 15-mile mobile welding area.
Many Cringleford homes are new or recently extended, and our work here leans towards architectural metalwork. We make glass-and-steel or bar balustrades, Juliet balconies, feature staircases and modern driveway gates, designed with you or to your architect's drawings. Everything is made at our Norwich workshop and finished in a powder coat colour to match your windows and doors.
For builders and self-builders, we supply structural steel for open-plan extensions, garden rooms and new builds. It's fabricated to BS EN 1090 EXC2 and UKCA marked, with the paperwork building control asks for. We can also supply screw piles for garden rooms and decks where concrete footings aren't practical.
Need a repair rather than something new? Our mobile welding service handles gates, railings, trailers and garden machinery on site. Visits are booked in advance. We don't do emergency or same-day call-outs, so please call to check availability if the job is urgent.
Design-led jobs go best when we're involved early. Share your plans or a few photos of the look you're after, and we'll suggest sizes, bar spacings and fixings that meet building regulations without spoiling the design. We can also make a simple sample of the finish or detail first, so you can see and feel it before the full piece is made.
