Costessey is on the western side of Norwich, about 9 miles from our Rackheath workshop by the ring road. That's within reach for both workshop jobs and mobile visits.

Costessey has a mix of homes and businesses. The trading estates around Longwater use us for practical steelwork like racking repairs, machine guards, brackets, mezzanine steel, stillages and bespoke frames. Because we're certified to BS EN 1090 EXC2 and have an in-house Responsible Welding Coordinator, we can supply the traceable, UKCA-marked steel that commercial jobs often need.

For homes in Old and New Costessey and Queen's Hills, we fabricate steel beams and posts for extensions, as well as balustrades, handrails, external steps and driveway gates. Each one is made to measure, and we can powder coat or galvanise it.

For repairs on site, such as a cracked gate frame, damaged steel steps or worn plant parts, our mobile welding service can come out to you. Visits are booked in advance, and we don't do emergency or same-day call-outs. If it's urgent, give us a ring to see if we can fit you in.

Running a unit means downtime is expensive, so we try to plan site visits around your working day, including early starts or quieter periods. Send us drawings, a sample part or even a sketch with measurements and we'll price it promptly. Repeat parts can be kept on file, so the next batch is quicker to order and matches the last one exactly.
